Johansen Professorship, 1994
The Dr. Erling Johansen Endowed Professorship in Dental Research was established in 1994 by a gift of Dr. Edward Becker, D1934, in honor of Dr. Johansen, D1949. Johansen served as dean of the dental school from 1979 to 1995.
The Johansen chair was the first endowed chair in the dental school's history. It supports the research mission of the School of Dental Medicine.
